The following DTC and symptom code combination is stored in the driver assist systems control unit, -J1121(address word 00A5):
• DTC U10DA00: Invalid Coding (sym 4158)
This TSB only applies if the exact event memory entry above including the exact corresponding
symptom number is logged.
Technical Background
A diagnostic shortcoming in the driver assist systems control unit -J1121- (diagnostic address 00A5) may cause
DTC U10DA00 (4158) to be entered erroneously (Ghost DTC).
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
No repair is available at this time.
1. Do not perform any repairs. Any repairs for this concern may be denied.
2. The event memory entry does not lead to a restricted function or a message in the instrument cluster. Further
measures are not required.
