Customer statement:
The front passenger airbag indicator in the roof module lights up permanently after the engine is started.
Workshop findings:
The following DTCs are stored in the airbag control unit J234 (diagnostic address 0015):
• DTC B101614: Front passenger side airbag disabled indicator lamp, open circuit/short circuit to ground
• DTC B12F114: Indicator lamp for front passenger airbag, open circuit/short circuit to ground

SVM Update Instructions
Always use DoIP when flashing a control module via ODIS in supported vehicles.
• To activate DoIP, select Administration>>General>>GFF Process>>DoIP communication>>Only allow
DoIP communication.
• This setting will automatically reset when the diagnostic session has ended.
• A red LED light will be visible on the VAS 6154(A) if the DoIP is active.
1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the Electronic Central Electrical (BCM), J519 (address word 0009) using the SVM action code as listed
in the table below, if necessary:
