PIVI – LOSS OF GPS LOCATION AND CLOCK TIME

Technical Description:
JLR Engineering investigations have found one or all the following which is
caused by a GPS firmware bug:
Range Rover
• 22-23MY New Range Rover
• 23MY New Range Rover Sport
• 21-23MY Evoque
• 21-23MY Velar
Defender
• 20–23MY Defender
Discovery
• 21-23MY Discovery
• 21-23MY Discovery Sport
Jaguar
• 21-23MY I-PACE
• 21-23MY F-PACE
• 21-23MY XF
• 21-23MY E-PACE
• Navigation system has defaulted to a location in Berlin, Germany
regardless of vehicle location, may not show correct vehicle position
and the satellite system may not perform as anticipated.
• Clock may not show correct time.
• Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto maps may not show correct position.
Status:
Update PIVI to IP36 via TOPIx Cloud by using the PIVI recovery application.
