PERFECT DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI) 2014 TT/TTS Coupe and Roadster/TT RS Audi Technician Report Stock No. Dealer Number R.O. No. VIN Road test mileage out Road test mileage in All items must be completed prior to customer delivery by an Audi technician **Refer to the Special functions tab of ODIS Diagnosis using GFF for the PDI function tests **Audi recommends using an Audi approved battery charger to prevent excessive battery discharge during inspection Open Campaigns/Updates Exterior Test windshield washers for aim and function Turn on headlights and test headlamp washers (if equipped) Test exterior lighting functions Check key functionality: Including seat memory (if applicable); verify vehicle starts and runs with all keys; verify all doors manually and remotely lock and unlock with all keys Check Elsa for open campaigns and updates. Perform campaigns not requiring SVM if applicable. Campaigns requiring SVM should only be performed after the vehicle has been taken out of transport mode. Interior Battery Inspection Calibrate rear view mirror compass to proper zone and check self-dimming function/lighting Check battery clamps for proper torque. Re-torque if required Verify operation of all interior lights Install the headlight washer fuse Mirrors: Inspect folding, adjustments, RH tilt in reverse, and memory (if equipped) Check the battery prior to starting engine with MCR340A. Record MCR340A code: _________________ or attach printout Check operation of all switches: Locks, windows, seat adjustment, and child safety features Inspect operation of lighter, aux. outlet under armrest and rear outlet Transport Mode Deactivation, DTC check, set service reminder Verify operation of all front and rear seat belts and latches Deactivate vehicle transport mode (via Special functions –> Service work –> 19-Transport mode activating/deactivating ) Check horn operation Set service reminder (via Special functions –> Service work –> 17-PDI-resetting SRI at PDI, counter reset, etc.) Passenger side airbag: Verify operation of Passenger Occupant Detection System Deactivate the anti-theft function for the Navigation DVD using the Scan Tool. Follow the process outlined in TSB 2013790 Radio Perform an SVM specified /actual comparison (via Special functions ->Software Version Management (SVM)) Verify operation of AMI or aux. input Verify operation of CD changer (if equipped) Perform any campaign update requiring SVM at this time (follow instructions listed in campaign documentation) SD card slot: Insert SD card and test function (Test all SD card slots as equipped) Under the Hood Fluid Check and Inspection Audi Navigation plus (if equipped) Check all fluid levels and top off if necessary Verify and set Language and Measurement Units in Setup/ Settings menu Check engine oil level – fill oil to the max level when the vehicle is at operating temperature Trunk Inspection Verify emergency repair tools are installed securely in trunk tool kit Set clock and date to local time/date using correct format Navigation location: Set dealership location (for following back to dealership during road test) Voice Activation (if equipped): Press the “Talk” button and verify several commands Install wheel bolt cover removal tool from PDI kit and wheel lock key (if applicable) into trunk tool kit Effective 11-14-2013-US Version 1.2 1 of 2 PERFECT DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI) 2014 TT/TTS Coupe and Roadster/TT RS | Audi Technician Report Stock No. Dealer Number R.O. No. VIN Road test mileage out Road test mileage in On-Hoist Inspection Road Test (continued) Check underside of vehicle for fluid leaks and loose components Check steering/tire alignment Check steering, boots, brake system, hoses, tires and wheels for damage Test drive vehicle applying brakes several times (at least 4 times) at 20 mph (35 km/h) to clean brake rotors. Check for abnormal noise/vibration/pulsation Remove suspension blocks (if installed) Inspect wheel bolts for proper torque using torque wrench Install wheel bolt covers and center caps as supplied If a known “sold” unit, set to appropriate Normal Load Condition. SEE LIST BELOW. If going to stock, set to maximum recommended tire pressures listed on the B-pillar doorjamb, and store tire pressure values in Car/System menu TT/TTS Coupe and Roadster and TTRS 2.0: 225/50 R17 94H all season 32 front/29 rear Verify quality of radio reception in AM/FM/SAT bands Cruise control verify all functions Verify rear spoiler functionality Climate control: Check all functions and verify proper A/C cooling Front seat heating (if equipped): Inspect for proper operation Navigation function (if equipped): Activate NAV and follow directions back to dealership Parking brake: Apply and verify hold and release 225/50 R17 94W XL high performance 32 front/29 rear 245/45 R17 95H all season 32 front/29 rear 245/45 R17 95Y XL high performance 32 front/29 rear Post-Road Test Inspection 245/40 R18 93H all season 32 front/29 rear Interrogate fault memory using the Scan Tool and print Diagnostic Log 245/40 R18 93Y XL high performance 32 front/29 rear Record final mileage on checklist and sign checklist 255/35 R19 96Y XL high performance 32 front/29 rear Ensure the yellow tire pressure tag is installed on steering wheel Road Test Check for squeaks, rattles, and wind noise Test operation of folding power top (Roadster) If Vehicle is for Showroom Display/Inventory Storage or Demo Use: Test power wind deflector (Roadster) Install showroom charger to ensure battery remains charged at all times Verify function of Audi parking system rear Apply Inventory Maintenance Sticker Verify engine performance and acceleration Install standard wiper blades (if not already installed) Verify transmission operation including shift paddles Technician I certify that all operations have been completed and this vehicle has been prepared in accordance with Audi Procedures and Quality Standards, and has met the standards for Perfect Delivery.
