The following DTC may be stored Passive/Static in the Engine control module, J623 (address word 001):
• DTC P240700 Evap emission control system leakage diagnosis pump current fluctuating
The event memory must not contain further relevant entries.

Production Solution
This bulletin will be updated when more information is available. A solution is currently under development.
Service
1. Delete DTC P240700 and release the vehicle to the customer.
2. Explain to the customer that a solution is expected to be available by the end of the 2nd quarter of 2024
(subject to change) and no repairs are necessary at this point. Do not replace any components for this
condition since it will not resolve the customer’s concern.
3. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in Access Audi
(under Related Links >> Service), or through the Technical Assistance page in Elsa.
