Technical Service Bulletin Technical Background There is a software issue in the Comfort Control Module -J393-. Production Solution Not applicable. Service SVM Update Instructions 1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions. 2. Update the Comfort Control Module -J393- (address word 0046) using the SVM action code as listed in the table below, if necessary: Model Diagnostic Address A4, A5, Q7, Q8, and Q8 e-tron 0046 Old Software Part Number 8W1.907.064.* Old Software Version 0627 New Software Part Number (or higher) 8W1.907.064.* New Software Version SVM Code Input (or higher) 0628 46A034 The key must be on the emergency reader coil during the update. Warranty Claim Type: • 110 up to 48 Months/50,000 Miles. • G10 for CPO Covered Vehicles – Verify Owner. • If the vehicle is outside of any warranty, this Technical Service Bulletin is informational only.
