Customer states:
In certain situations, the turn-by-turn guidance is not depicted on the Head-Up Display (HUD).
Technical Background
Navigation turn-by-turn instructions are requested from the control unit for information electronics -J794- (address
word 5F), but are not displayed in the Head-Up Display for conceptual reasons. These navigation turn-by-turn
instructions are not implemented in the head-up display therefore cannot be depicted.
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
• No repair is available at this time.
• Do not perform any repairs. Any repairs for this concern may be denied.
• Instruct the customer that this condition is normal.
