The deployable side steps are noisy in operation or have erratic
intermittent operation.
Technical Description:

The Running Board Control Module (RBCM) may have one of the
following DTCs stored: C1002-77, C1003-77, C1004-77, C1005-77,
C1008-3A, C1009-3A

This may be caused by incorrect installation of the deployable
running boards, either loose fixings or incorrect alignment.
SSM 76011 has been published to provide diagnostic guidance to
repair the concern.
Hardware should not be replaced unless specifically instructed
following the diagnostic procedures.
