Engineering investigations of concerns have found that in some
instances, new replacement headlamp and power steering modules
were not properly programmed when replaced.
When replacing headlamp or power steering modules, the new
module MUST be programmed as a new module when installed, as
per the Workshop Manual procedures.
Status:
•
SSM 76100 & SSM 76101 have been published to remind servicing
technicians of this requirement that is within the workshop
procedures.
