Service Technical Information 140/23 ENU 9152 9 Language Display in the Instrument Cluster and the Display and Control Panel (PCM) Differ (140/23) Model Line: Cayenne (9YA / 9YB) Model Year: As of 2024 Concerns: Control unit for central computer (PCM) Cause: A different language is displayed on the instrument cluster than in the display and control panel (PCM). Action: To correct the symptom, select a third language, which is not already displayed in the instrument cluster or in the display and control panel (PCM). Then set the desired language in the display and control panel (PCM). Information The language display between the instrument cluster and the display and control panel (PCM) is readjusted during the intermittent changing of the language display to a third language. Work Procedure: 1 Switch on ignition. 2 Start the display and control panel (PCM) and select the “Settings” menu item. 3 Select the “System” menu item. 4 Select the “Language and keyboard” menu item. 5 Select a language that is not already displayed in the instrument cluster or the display and control panel (PCM). 6 Set the desired language in the display and control panel (PCM).
