Dear Dinesh,
From time to time, Volkswagen offers software updates to improve vehicle operation,
performance and comfort, as well as occasionally providing new vehicle features. Your ID.4
will soon be eligible for an over-the-air software update:
Over-the-Air Software Update to Version 3.2.11
This software update provides minor bug fixes and enhances the performance of the
electronic control module that manages the over-the-air installation process. This update is
a prerequisite for future updates.
We will send this over-the-air software update to all eligible ID.4 vehicles in several waves
over the next few months. As soon as it’s time to update your vehicle, we will send you an

email with instructions. Once it’s time to install the software, you will receive a notification in
your ID.4’s infotainment screen when you switch your vehicle from drive to park mode.
We appreciate your patience as we worked to deliver the convenience of over-the-air
