Customer states:
The vehicle does not start. The message “Engine start system: fault” or “Power unit start system: fault”
appears in the instrument cluster.
Workshop findings:
The following DTC is stored statically or intermittently in the onboard supply control, J519 (address word 0009):
• DTC B114815: Terminal 15 open circuit/short circuit to B+
There may also be related terminal 15 implausible DTCs stored in various modules. Please review the
table below.

Hardware conflict within the onboard supply control, -J519- (address word 0009).

Service
If the customer concern and DTC match as stated above, update onboard supply control unit -J519- (address
word 0009) using SVM code 09A059. Please reference the TSB number in the claim comments.
SVM Update Instructions
Always use DoIP when flashing a control module via ODIS in supported vehicles.
To Activate DoIP, select Administration>>General>>GFF Process>>DoIP communication>>Only allow
DoIP communication
This setting will automatically reset when the diagnostic session is ended.
You can tell if DoIP is active by observing a red LED on the VAS 6154(A)
1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the onboard supply control unit -J519- (diagnostic address 0009) using the SVM action code as listed
in the table below, if necessary:
