BODY/CHASSIS NOISE IN CABIN FROM DRIVER FOOTWELL / BRAKE PEDAL AREA Range Rover • 22–24MY Range Rover (L460) • 23–24MY Sport Customer Voice: • A low level, high frequency background noise from the brake pedal area that varies when depressing the brake pedal. Technical Description: • This may be caused by a vibration from the Integrated Power Brake Unit (IPB) valves during agitation from the pulse width modulated signal that operates them. This vibration is transmitted from the valves via the IPB pushrod into the brake pedal. Status: • SSM 76074 has been published to provide diagnostic guidance to address the concern. • Hardware should not be replaced unless specifically instructed following the diagnostic procedures.
