NOTE: Oil leak detection spray is evident within Figure1, the use of detection spray in the example shown is used to highlight the location of the
leak

IMPORTANT: The operative must await feedback from Product Support before conducting any further work
New Continental GT/C and New Flying Spur
1) Remove the right hand engine cover - Refer to Rep.Gr 10
•
Remove the cooling fan - Refer to Rep.Gr 19
•
Disconnect the electrical connector from each ignition coil
Hint: Position the ignition coil harness to allow the breather pipe to be removed
•
Remove the right hand charge air cooler hose - Refer to the applicable section of Rep.Gr 21
2) Referring to Figure 2 - Replace the following parts and all associated parts as detailed within the applicable Rep.Gr and the ETKA parts
catalogue
•
Item 10 - Breather line assembly
Note: Items 11 and 12 are automatically supplied with item 10
•
Item 11 - O-Ring
•
Item 12 - O-Ring

NOTE: When refitting the new replacement breather line and O-rings, ensure the following:
•
Apply a light coating of clean engine oil to the O-Rings
•
The fixings which secure the breather line connection to the oil separator (Figure 2 - Item 13) must be secured to 10Nm
3) Conduct a short road test
4) Check to confirm the oil leak is rectified, In the event the leak has been rectified no further action is required
Or
In the event the leak is still evident the operative should conduct step 5 to completion
5) Referring to Rep.Gr 17 - Replace the oil separator tank (Figure 3) and all associated parts as detailed within the applicable Rep.Gr and the
ETKA parts catalogue
INTERNAL
IMPORTANT: The O-Rings which were replaced as part of Step 2 (Figure 2 Items 11 and 12) must renewed, DO NOT reuse
the O-Rings regardless of the short time in which they have been fitted
