File in Section: Service Bulletin Bulletin No.: Date: PIC5733 September, 2012 PRELIMINARY INFORMATION Subject: Lock Indicator Flickers And Unable To Clear DTC B2625 After Repairs Are Completed Models: 2013 Cadillac ATS The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI. Condition/Concern: A technician may find that the DTC B2625 Symptom Code 02 remains as a Current DTC even though repairs have been completed. When this occurs, the Lock indicator lamp will be flickering. Recommendation/Instructions: Important: Do not replace the BCM for this concern. Engineering has verified the condition and is working toward a resolution. In the meantime, the DTC can be successfully cleared and the Lock Indicator lamp will stop flickering by using the following procedure after correcting the cause of the B2625 DTC: 1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal for 30 seconds. 2. Reconnect the battery. The DTC will be stored as History and you will now be able to use the Clear DTC command to erase the DTC. Warranty Information: For vehicles repaired under warranty use: Labor Operation Description Labor Time N9999 Electrical Controls - Labor Only (Comment Required — Describing Corrective Action) Use Published Labor Operation Time Customer Information: Please communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern. Once a solution is available, this PI will be updated with additional details - allowing dealership personnel to contact the customer to schedule a service appointment and repair the vehicle. Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
