• The MIL is illuminated.
Workshop findings:
One or more of the following DTC(s) may be stored relating to the ECM, -J623- (address word 0001) (sometimes
in combination with additional entries about the intake manifold):
• P200400 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Bank 1, Stuck Open
• P200600 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Bank 1, Stuck Closed
• P201400 - Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor Switch circuit
• P201500 - Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor/Switch Circuit Air Flow Control Range/Performance
Technical Background
The electric changeover valve (N316) may be sticking.
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
It is not necessary to replace the entire intake manifold.

Technical Service Bulletin
Before replacing the electric changeover valve (N316), please check that the vacuum pump is working correctly
(ELSA – Checking vacuum system – Checking vacuum generation).
Please also check that the oil filler cap is installed correctly.
Replace electric changeover valve (refer to extract from ETKA, component 6):

• G10 for CPO Covered Vehicles – Verify Owner.
