Customer or dealer will notice the tow eyebolt cover(s) may be loose or missing
and/or the eyebolt is missing.
Condition
Correction:
The dealer should check this at PDI.
If the cover is missing rst check the glove box, if not there or if found damaged replace the cover.
If loose, then reattach the cover following installation instruction in SI per vehicle.
If the eyebolt is missing, check the right-side rear bin stowage area just inside the lift gate opening, if not
found replace and stow in the foam holder under the cargo oor.
Warranty Information
For vehicles repaired under the Bumper-to-Bumper coverage (Canada Base Warranty coverage), use the following
labor operation. Reference the Applicable Warranties section of Investigate Vehicle History (IVH) for coverage
information.
Note: Dealer will also need to submit delivery receipt number, delivery receipt date, and the damage code from
the following table when submitting the claim. See the latest version of 15-00-89-002 for additional information.
