File in Section: Service Bulletin Bulletin No.: Date: PIT5207 April, 2013 PRELIMINARY INFORMATION Subject: Service Stabilitrak Message With DTC C0455 and/or C0710 SYM5A After A Sequential Programming Models: 2010 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid and Tahoe Hybrid 2010 GMC Sierra Hybrid and Yukon Hybrid The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI. Condition/Concern For the 2010 models, there is a 1st and 2nd design Steering Wheel Position Sensor (SWPS) and the EBCM has a different calibration for each sensor design. If, after a sequential programming event, the EBCM sets DTC C0455 and/or C0710 SYM5A, it could be caused by the EBCM being programmed for the wrong SWPS design. Recommendation/Instructions Please contact Techline Customer Support Center at 800-828-6860 to determine if the vehicle has the correct EBCM calibration. Warranty Information For vehicles repaired under warranty, please refer to the latest version of bulletin 06-08-47-001 for warranty information on control module reset/configuration. Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
