Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Rear Wiper Does Not Turn On
Discussion: Owner complains that the rear wiper is not turning on after a recent vehicle repair
involving the hard top or Body Control Module (BCM). Verify Q997 circuit - Roof Top Presensce
Detection Sense circuit is grounded which confirms the hard top is installed with proper connections
for rear wiper motor operation. Component operation can be confirmed by using the scan tool
actuator command for the rear wiper on, or toggle modes, Fig 1 and 2.
