Park the vehicle on an even surface with the transmission on neutral.
Apply the parking brake and set the master control switch to the stop position.
Set the battery disconnect switch in the battery compartment to the off position.
Locate the driver door stanchion between farebox and riser inside the driver compartment (see figure 1).

Remove the three bolts and five washers from the current assembly and discard.
Clean/Degrease the holes and surroundings with a brake cleaner if necessary.

Apply Loctite 243 N97665 on the three new bolt’s threads N45483.
Install the bolt N45483, lockwasher N28220 and washer N28219 on the vertical surface and bolt N45483,
lockwasher N28220 on horizontal surface (see figure 2).

Apply torque to 27 ± 2Nm for all three bolts.
Apply UV torque marker N110364.
