SSM 52175 2024 Expedition/Navigator - Lower Than Actual Fuel Level
Indication On The Fuel Gauge Or Inaccurate Distance To Empty (DTE)
Displayed In The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) After Adding Fuel
Some 2024 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit lower than actual fuel level indication on the fuel gauge
or inaccurate DTE displayed in the IPC after adding fuel to the vehicle. This may be due to the IPC software
and can occur if the vehicle is shut off before placing the gear shift module (GSM) in park (p) and then partially
filling the fuel tank. The fuel level indicator and DTE will self-recover after several hours if this condition occurs.
Currently, a remedy for this concern is being developed and is expected by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
Continue to monitor OASIS for updates.
