Condition
Customer statement:
• Multiple messages/Pre sense fault message in the cluster.
Workshop findings:
• DTCs C101AF1, C101BF1, C101CF1, C101DF1 “magnetic field too low” is stored in one or more speed
sensors in the ABS control unit J104 (address word 0003).
• DTCs U112300, U112200 “Databus error value received; Databus implausible message” stored in the
Distance Regulation control unit J428 (address word 0013).
Technical Background
Not applicable.
Production Solution
This bulletin will be updated when more information is available. A solution is currently under development.
Service
Proceed as follows:
1. Delete all DTCs stored in the ABS control unit J104 (address word 0003) and Distance Regulation control unit
J428 (address word 0013).
2. Make sure the speed sensors are free of debris, oil residues, grease or dirt.
3. Perform a short road test.
4. Check if DTCs C101AF1, C101BF1, C101CF1, C101DF1 returned to ABS control unit, if not release the
vehicle.
Do not replace speed sensors! Parts replacement does not solve this issue. Claims for replaced parts
will be subject to review.
