starting the vehicle. If the map/reading lamp button is pressed the lamps will turn

Condition
Weak battery could cause the overhead console to command on the map/reading
lamps while cranking.
Cause
Correction:
Test the battery using GM approved methods. If test fails, replace the battery. If it passes follow SI diagnostics.
