Some customers may comment that the airbag light is ON, and technicians may find
Communication DTCs set.
Cause
The supplemental restraint wiring harness may be pinched under the passenger seat
track.
Correction
Repair damaged wiring as necessary.
Service Procedure
1. Remove the passenger seat and inspect the wiring
harness. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat
Removal and Installation in SI.
2. Repair wiring as necessary. Refer to SIR/SRS
Wiring Repairs in SI.
