TECHNICAL SERVICE OPERATIONS MAS003735_A RU 24-02 RAPID UPDATE FROM: Maserati TSO TO: Maserati Network Rapid Update 661 Grecale – CVPAM Software Update ATTENTION! This bulletin supersedes MAS003735 RU 23-44 released on August 2, 2023, and has been updated to include a new CVPAM SW version. Please discard/remove all copies of the previous bulletin. DATE: JANUARY 24, 2024 Certain Maserati Grecale (M182) MY23 MY24 listed in MODISCS+ are involved in a Rapid Update to update the Central Vision Park Assist Module (CVPAM) software. This update is necessary to improve the power draw of the CVPAM module from the vehicle's 12V battery. We remind you that all the Rapid Updates must be performed within the first workshop visit, regardless of the Mandatory setting set in Modis, as required by Maserati policies. Also, for vehicles in Stock Dealer / PDI, it is necessary to carry out all action operations before delivery to the end customer, as required by the White Book and explicitly reported in the Predelivery checklist. Always check ModisCS+ to see if the vehicle is involved in this action and if it has not been previously performed. 2. Verify that the EVO has the LATEST SW installed via the EVO SW UPDATE MANAGER (SPA 9.3.0 or HIGHER) DO NOT ATTEMPT the CVPAM SW update if the EVO SW is lower than SPA 9.3.0 3. Before proceeding, please ensure that the Engine is OFF. 4. Connect a battery maintainer to the 12V battery (For Grecale, it is recommended to use the E-XTEQ MAXIMUS to maintain minimum voltage and current draw requirements) 5. Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO) check the battery voltage and make sure it is at least 12.5 or above. 6. Connect the EVO and select CVPAM ► ECU Programming and follow the prompts. 7. Procedure complete. Software version to be installed (or newer). Market F188 Target ROW 670310114 ROW = Rest Of World UPDATE: The new SW 4.5.1 ROW (F188 670310114) improves the battery absorption of the CVPAM module identical to the SW 4.4 (F188 670307848). This change is due to a new software release for the North American markets. Therefore, all the vehicles already updated in this rapid update to the previous SW 4.4 ROW must not be upgraded to the 4.5.1 version.
