TECHNICAL SERVICE OPERATIONS MAS003848 BOL 24-02 Diagnostic Sheet FROM: Maserati TSO TO: Maserati Network Grecale: Checks for TPMS and/or Keyfob Recognition Issues DATE: JANUARY 31, 2024 This document aims to provide technical indications for the diagnosis of TPMS and/or keyfob recognition anomalies. MODEL: Grecale (All MY) CUSTOMER CONCERN: A) TPMS warning light on and pressure value of one or more tires is not displayed. B) Difficulty locking and unlocking the doors, even at close range (less than 6 meters). C) “Insufficient tires pressure” warning on cluster, even though the pressure displayed is correct. D) “Keyfob not detected” warning on cluster (after opening and closing the driver's door). ACTION: Perform checklists A/B depending on the customer complaint. We inform you that, regarding points C and D, resolution update campaigns have been released (RU 673 and RU 674, respectively). If the customer reports one or both problems of points C and D, check whether the car is involved in the aforementioned campaigns. If so, follow the instructions reported in the respective bulletins. CHECKLIST A: 1) Save a full ECU scan report; 2) Check if the vehicle is equipped with OPT 35B (21’’ CRIO STAGGERED ALLOY FRONT WHEEL: 255/40 REAR: 295/35 SUMMER CLASS C) AND Bridgestone tires. In this case, write down the DOT code of the tires and check if they are the ones installed as original equipment or if they were installed after the vehicle sale; 3) If the customer's complaint is easily duplicable, electrically disconnect all connectors of the central infotainment display (ICS, see section Modis 08.71 – 1, item n.1). Subsequently, check whether the complaint is still present. Document the behavior of the car with a video. 4) If the problem persists even after ICS disconnection or if it is not possible to replicate the customer's complaint, we inform you that a kit will soon be made available for repositioning the RFHM antenna in the central area of the roof top. This solution will guarantee an improvement in system performance, avoiding the recurrence of the problem. It is therefore requested not to carry out further interventions on the car, and to open a BOL as "factory information", reporting the results of the diagnosis. © 2024 Maserati North America Aftersales www.maseratiusa.com MAS003848 All rights reserved.
