Bulletin No.: Service Bulletin Date: 24-NA-031 February, 2024 INFORMATION Subject: Brand: Cadillac Chevrolet Information on Brake Pulsation and/or Repeat Brake Pulsation Model: CT4-V Blackwing CT5-V Blackwing Corvette Model Year: from 2022 VIN Breakpoint: to from to 2024 — — Engine: Transmission: — — 2020 Involved Region or Country North America, Europe Additional Options (RPOs) Equipped with BRAKE SYSTEM-PWR, FRT & RR DISC, ANTILOCK, FRT & RR WHL, HEAVY DUTY, CARBON CERAMIC ROTORS (DNU NEXT NEW MAJOR) or BRAKE SYSTEM-POWER, FRT & RR DISC, ABS, 19", HEAVY DUTY (DNU NEXT NEW MAJOR) (RPOs J57, J6H) Condition Some customers may comment on having brake pulsation and/or repeat brake pulsation. Cause 6541022 Note: Black wheels are not offered as an OEM option. The condition may be due to the customer painting their wheels and paint got on the wheel hub surface (1), as shown in the picture above, and the hub bearing surface, resulting in having lateral runout to be .001 over spec of .002 which is enough to cause thickness variation of the rotors. Correction Copyright 2024 General Motors LLC. All Rights Reserved. Clean the surface on both the wheel hub and the hub bearing, and inspect the thickness variation of the rotors. Important: If the rotors are out of specification, this would NOT be covered under warranty and would be a customer-pay.
