Technical Service Bulletin
Monitoring the measured values will confirm the G525 hall sensor as the root cause. If this is the case remove the
rear lock carrier trim and carefully inspect the latch entry door operation, hall sensor mounting, and induction plate
mounting. If the rear lock carrier trim is damaged causing a loose or compromised fit of components it will need to
be replaced.
The G525 rear lid closed sensor is available as a separate replacement part if found to be faulty. The rear lock
carrier trim need not be replaced in cases where no damage to the trim is found.
Rear lock carrier trim including the latch entry found to be damaged due to outside influence will not be
reimbursed under warranty.
