PROCEDURE

Park the vehicle on an even surface with the transmission on neutral.
Apply the parking brake and set the master control switch to the stop position.
Set the battery disconnect switch in the battery compartment to the off position. The cable to be repaired
has power all the time, make sure to lock the bus out.
WARNING
Disconnect the batteries prior to starting any work on the vehicle. See your maintenance manual
section 16: Batteries for the procedure.

Above the left #1 window, locate the cable C1112 part number N94033-05 which was wrongly connected to
the bus bar SL1-CB55CD1. Disconnect the cable.
1.5.
Install approximately 2 inches of heat shrink N27548-07 (cut as required) and install it on the cable. Make
sure to not cover the labels and by leaving approximately 1 inch of yellow heat shrink from the terminal lug.
Install approximately 2
inches of blue heat shrink

Connect the cable to the proper position on the bus bar to SL1-CB55DC1. Torque the screw to 8.8 lb-in (1
N·m) and apply a torque seal.

Also install approximately 2 inches of heat shrink N27548-07 (cut as required) on the other end of cable
N94033-05 located at RF0-MS78E3. Make sure to not cover the labels and by leaving approximately 1 inch
of yellow heat shrink from the terminal lug.
1.8.
Reconnect the cable to the same position and torque the screw to 8.8 lb-in (1 N·m). Apply a torque seal.
WARNING
Connect the batteries after the repair is completed. See your manual section 16: Batteries for the procedure.
1.9.
The vehicle can return to service.
