Bulletin No.: Service Bulletin Date: 23-NA-207 February, 2024 TECHNICAL Subject: Brand: Chevrolet Ticking, Rattle and/or Buzzing Noise Heard from inside Passenger Side Model: Camaro ZL1 Camaro ZL1 1LE Model Year: VIN: from to from to 2017 2024 — — Engine: Transmission: 6.2L (LT4) — Involved Region or Country North America, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Europe, Russia, Middle East, Israel, Palestine, China, Thailand, Other Africa Condition Some customers may comment on a rattle, tick or buzz noise coming from the passenger side. – The noise may be louder inside of the vehicle rather than on the outside. Cause 6483330 This condition may be caused by the fuel feed pipe between the high-pressure fuel pump and chassis fuel line allowing high pressure pulsation back to the low side of the fuel system. – This may be due to a faulty pulse dampener internal to the part. Following the line underneath the vehicle, a sound check can be made in this location indicated in the graphic above, to confirm the noise is present within the fuel line. Correction If the pulse dampener has been validated to be the cause of the noise, replace the fuel feed pipe. 6483334 These graphic above shows the location of the chassis fuel feed pipe on the LT4 engine. This line will run along the firewall and below the vehicle. It will have a jumper line with quick disconnects at both ends. One end will connect to the chassis line and the other to the high-pressure pump feed line.
