Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) Front and Rear Axle Sensor Kit REFERENCE: TSB: 03-002-24 GROUP: 03 - Differential and Driveline Date: January 23, 2024 VEHICLES AFFECTED: 2018 - **2023** (JL) Jeep Wrangler 2018 - **2023** (JT) Jeep Gladiator This bulletin applies to vehicles built on and before November 24, 2022 (MDH 1124XX) equipped with Tru-Lok Front & Rear Axles (Sales Code DSE). REVISION: 03-003-22 MARKET APPLICABILITY: NA MEA SA IAP EE **CH** CUSTOMER SYMPTOM: **Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set: ● C1451-11 - Service Axle Locker System** Customers may also comment on a Service Axle Locker message displayed in the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) for this condition. CAUSE: Failed front or Rear Axle Locker Sensor. This bulletin supersedes Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 03-003-22, date of issue July 14, 2022, which should be removed from your files. All revisions are highlighted with **asterisks** and include a new market, model year and a new DTC. DISCUSSION: A service kit (Sensor Kit, Axle: 68544629AA) is available to repair the Axle Locker Sensor on the vehicles equipped with both the M210 and M220 Tru-Lok axles (Sales Code DSE). This parts kit must be used when the Axle Locker Sensor fails. Do not replace the Front or Rear Axle assemblies.
