Bulletin No.: Service Bulletin Date: 24-NA-048 March, 2024 ENGINEERING INFORMATION Subject: Brand: Cadillac Chevrolet Information on Unwanted Rear Automatic Braking (RAB) Model: LYRIQ XT4 Blazer EV Model Year: from VIN Breakpoint: to from to 2024 — — Engine: Transmission: — — 2023 2024 Involved Region or Country North America, Europe, Middle East, Israel, Palestine, Colombia (West), Ecuador (West), Japan, Cadillac Korea (South Korea) Additional Options (RPOs) Equipped with SENSOR-COLLISION AVOIDANCE & MITIGATION, VEHICLE REVERSE MOVEMENT (RPO UVZ) Condition Some customers may comment that the rear automatic braking may brake unwantedly, usually when reversing out of a garage or driveway. Cause The cause of the condition may be due to the design sensitivity with the rear virtual bumper. Correction If a customer has this condition with their vehicle, dealer technicians can show the customer that there are different settings that the customer can select in their personalization menu to either set an audible alert only or audible alert with braking. Customers are also encouraged to refer to the owner’s manual section on reverse automatic braking (RAB) and the warnings that are noted. Service Procedure Important: This technical service bulletin (TSB) can only be completed by certified repair facilities who have met all specific training, tool and equipment requirements pertaining to the vehicle Brand and Model serviced. Repairs must be performed by a technician who has successfully completed the required training. Important: Service agents must comply with all International, Federal, State, Provincial, and/or Local laws applicable to the activities it performs under this bulletin, including but not limited to handling, deploying, preparing, classifying, packaging, marking, labeling, and shipping dangerous goods.
