Technical Service Bulletin Figure 1: wASI connections grayed out. • When using a wired ASI connection, the system works as expected. • The 5GHz WiFi network is not broadcast by the vehicle. Workshop findings: • No Relevant DTCs are stored. Technical Background The wireless Audi Smartphone Interface requires the 5GHz WiFi network in the vehicle to communicate and stream its content from the phone to the MMI. Due to a configuration issue, the 5GHz WiFi may not be available in some vehicles, preventing wASI from functioning. A wired Audi Smartphone Interface connection is not affected by this issue. Production Solution Not applicable. Service 1.
