Service Technical Information 32/24 ENU ARA2 6 ARA2 - Checking and if Necessary Replacing Three-Point Belt on Rear Left and Right (Recall Campaign) Model Line: 911 Cabriolet (992) Model Year: 2023 Country/Market: USA (C02) Canada (C36) Concerns: Child safety function on the rear three-point belt and the left and right Cause: On the rear three-point seat belt at the left and right, there is the possibility that the automatic seat belt extension lock for mounting a child seat does not work properly due to a manufacturing error on the seat belt retractor. If this is the case, the belt extension lock can be switched off in an undefined manner, and the belt can then continue to be unrolled and pulled out. As a result, the child seat is not fixed in accordance with the specifications. Action: Check the rear three-point belt at the left and right and replace it if necessary. Affected Vehicles: Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information).
