Retailer voice: Battery fault on IPC when vehicle stored in showroom.
Technical Description:
• NC11 vehicle on display e.g. in a showroom while being supported by a showroom 12v
support unit, it requires an additional fuse to be removed to prevent the MHEV (48v)
battery draining and causing the cells to drop to a non-recoverable level.
• Vehicle activity resulting in the 48v battery cells depleting to a point where they cannot
be recovered.
Status:
• Fuse F16 (5A) within the Passenger Junction Box D (KL30 Supply) must be removed
along with others described in TOPIx 101-02: Showroom preparation.
