CAMPAIGN 22-01-009G JANUARY 2022 G80 (RG3) AMP GROUND SIDE COIL AND COIL & CAPACITOR REPLACEMENT (SERVICE CAMPAIGN T18G) IMPORTANT *****Dealer Stock and Retail Vehicles***** Dealers must perform this Service Campaign on all affected vehicles prior to customer retail delivery and whenever an affected vehicle is in the shop for any maintenance or repair. When a vehicle arrives at the Service Department, access Genesis Motor America's "Vehicle Information Screen (VIS)" screen via WEBDCS to identify open Campaigns. Description: This bulletin describes the procedure to replace the AMP ground side coil and coil and capacitor for certain vehicles exhibiting brown foam discoloration of the sponge pad in the rear glass antenna. Applicable Vehicles: Certain 2021MY G80 (RG3). Parts Information: Amp Ground Side Coil 96270-T1000QQH 1 Coil and Capacitor 96295-T1000QQH 1 Warranty Information: G80 AMP GROUND SIDE COIL AND COIL 10D076R0 (RG3) & CAPACITOR REPLACEMENT 0.4 M/H 96270-T1000 I11 ZZ3 NOTE 1: Submit Claim on Campaign Claim Entry Screen. NOTE 2: If a part that is not covered by this service campaign is in need of replacement while performing this service campaign and the affected part is still under warranty, please submit a separate claim using the same repair order. If the affected part is out of warranty, submit a prior approval request for goodwill consideration prior to performing the work. Circulate To: General Manager, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Warranty Manager, Service Advisors, Technicians, Body Shop Manager, Fleet Repair AMP GROUND SIDE COIL AND COIL & CAPACTOR REPLACEMENT (SERVICE CAMPAIGN T18G) Service Procedure: 1. Carefully remove the LH and RH rear door body side weatherstrip. Then use a screwdriver or plastic trim remover to carefully remove the LH and RH rear pillar trim clip. NOTICE If the clip has been damaged from removal, replace it with a new one. • Clip: 85859-3S500 • Fastener: 82315-2W000 2. Replace the AMP ground side coil. 3. Replace the coil & capacitor. 4.
