Condition
Customers may report that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated, or a
"Service High Voltage" message is displayed on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
Additionally, the vehicle may operate in a reduced power mode.
A technician may nd any of the following DTCs U2BF2, U2BF3, and/or U2BF6 set as
current or history.
Cause
H2 Sensor Calibrations
Correction:
1. With the vehicle in Service mode, use GDS2, verify if the vehicle has one or more of the following DTCs;
U2BF2, U2BF3, and/or U2BF6 set as current or history.
2. Program the K16 Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) with the most recent software via SPS.
3. Following programming, perform a DTC Code Clear.
4. Place the vehicle in Service mode and verify no DTCs have returned.
5. If any of the following DTCs: U2BF2, U2BF3, and/or U2BF6 return, start a TAC case, and reference this P.I.
– Please have ready current session log including "Vehicle DTC and ID information.” This will be asked for
once TAC Case has been set.
