Customers may report that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated, or a "Service High Voltage" message is
displayed on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). Additionally, the vehicle may operate in a reduced power mode.
A technician may nd any of the following DTCs U2BF2, U2BF3, and/or U2BF6 set as current or history.
Cause
H2 Sensor Calibrations.
Correction:
1. With the vehicle in Service mode, use GDS2, verify if the vehicle has one or more of the following DTCs set; U2BF2, U2BF3, and/or U2BF6 set as
current or history.
2. Program the K16 Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) with the most recent software via SPS.
3. Following programming, perform a DTC Code Clear
4. Place the vehicle in Service mode and verify no DTCs have returned.
5. If any of the following DTCs: U2BF2, U2BF3, and/or U2BF6 return, start a TAC case, and reference this P.I.
- Please have ready current session log including "Vehicle DTC and ID information.” This will be asked for once TAC Case has
been set.
Warranty Information
For vehicles repaired under the Bumper-to-Bumper coverage (Canada Base Warranty coverage), use the following labor operation.
Reference the Applicable Warranties section of Investigate Vehicle History (IVH) for coverage information.
If a module requires updating, utilize the following labor operation and time for claim payment. Only modules requiring an update should be claimed.
The SPS Warranty Claim Code must be accurately entered in the “SPS Warranty Claim Code” field of the transaction.
