 IMPORTANT
Retailers must perform this service campaign on all affected vehicles prior to retail delivery to a
guest and whenever an affected vehicle is in the shop for any maintenance or repair.
Access the “Vehicle Information” screen via WebDCS to identify open campaigns.
Description: Certain 2024MY GV80 (JX1) vehicles may have had the incorrect AWD ECU installed.
These vehicles may have the following conditions:
• Minor shift tuning logic
• Auto 4WD is always active
• Activation light does not illuminate on when 4WD is activated
Follow the procedures listed below to inspect, and if necessary, replace the AWD ECU with the
correct part.

A. AWD ECU Part Number Check
1.
Lift the vehicle.
2.
Visually inspect the AWD ECU part label (B).
1) If the part number is 95447-47100, continue
to Step 3 below.
2) If the part number is 95447-47110, proceed
to Section B.

Using STUI, take a picture of the AWD
ECU part label. Include a piece of paper
with the last six digits of the VIN and date
of repair in the photo. Ensure the picture
is in focus. Upload the photo to STUI.

C. AWD ECU Replacement

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Disconnect the AWD ECU connector (A).

Remove the 2 bolts securing the AWD ECU (B)
and disengage from the Transfer Case
assembly.

Tightening torque:
16.6 - 19.5 lb-ft
(22.6 - 26.5 N.m, 2.3 - 2.7 kgf.m,)
4.
Replace the AWD ECU with the correct part.
(PN 95447-47100)
STUI
Using STUI, take a picture of the new
AWD ECU next to the old AWD ECU.
Include a piece of paper with the last six
digits of the VIN and date of repair in the
photo. Ensure the picture is in focus and
the part labels are clearly visible. Upload
the photo to STUI.

Ensure all surfaces are free from any
debris before installing the O-rings
onto the new ECU.
Ensure the internal surfaces of the
transfer case assembly are free from
any debris before installing the new
ECU.

When installing the AWD ECU, the
motor shaft of the ECU (C) must be
aligned with the indent within the
transfer case assembly (D).
