Condition
Customer statement:
When using the washer system for the rearview camera, the pressure is insufficient to clean the lens of the
camera.
Workshop findings:
The system pressure of the mono pump is not high enough.
Technical Background
The mono pump is unable to produce enough system pressure.
Production Solution
Change from mono pump to dual pump design.
Service
Ensure there is no other reasons for low system pressure, ex: low washer solvent, filter on pump clogged, system
voltage low, obvious kinks in visible lines etc.
If no other reason for low pressure is present, replace the mono pump with the dual pump version.
Install the plug on the black outlet on the pump.
