Air bag safety issue. On october 14, 2015 i took my car in for service at mcgrath Nissan because the "cs air bag light is flashing" more spicifly the code readout was B1134 for sensor for air bag front left side. Their diagnosis was that the entire [and very expensive at $3000] air bag module must be replaced. Nissan is uncertain whether the air bags will work or not in a front left side crash. The part was ordered and was expected to become available before end of 2015. The part was 87651ze90b frame assy-front sea and i put down a 50% deposit on the part. It is now may 30, 2016. Numerous calls to the dealership, who followed up with Nissan, occurred. The answers varried. In some of the calls statements where made that Nissan was having supplier issues. In other calls i was given a new date for arrival of the part, and part has not yet arrived. In my last call mcgrath Nissan was told by Nissan that the part should arrive in april. It is now late may and still no part. In june 2016 i am required to take my car to emissions testing (suburb of chicago, il) and i am anticipating failing because of this part.

Owner of Nissan 350z roadster. Car is in mint condition only has 39,000+ miles and is 10 years old. Never had any problems other than tires, battery, brakes replacement over years. All of a sudden airbag light starting flashing on dash. Took to dealer that did "diagnosis" for $100+ and said module in driver side bag code B1134 needs replacing for $1200.00. Driver is unemployed at moment and laid-off. Dealership just said "drive safely" when leaving and deciding not to shell out $1200 at moment. Nissan refuses any goodwill to fix car even though this is an airbag related issue and possible safety hazard. Says the car is not under warranty (which is at 36,000 for Nissan) and the car has not had any major problems therefore in 10 years and has been a "good running car." Nissan feels it is driver's responsibility to repair. Other car manufacturers constantly recall airbag devices but not Nissan -- 2007 Nissan roadster 350 has had a recall for an airbag issue. Number for 2007:nhtsa campaign number: 08v521000 and the airbag module part number is 28556cd00. Owner of this vehicle looked up any other owners that may have had problem and this appears to be a common issue with owners of this year and make. See lists and lists of complaints here from other owners ofthis model when will Nissan take responsibility http://www.Arfc.Org/complaints/2005/Nissan/350z/air_bags/problem.Aspx.

    2005 NISSAN 350Z with 24775.0 miles

Approximately 3/1/08, my 2005 350z airbag sensor light started flashing. I took it to the dealer on 3/8/10 where i purchased it. Tech verified failure code B1129 rh side module. Replaced with yhehm-cd000 module assy-side. Light was cleared. Then approximately 10/1/10, again that sensor light started to flash. I took it into the same dealership where i purchased my new car on 10/6/10 (7 months later). Tech diagnosed failure code B1134 lh side air bag module failure. Replaced with yheha-cd000. Light was cleared. On nov 20, 2010, i hydroplaned in the rain, hit a guard rail head on, did a 1080 (360 degrees x 3) then hit a tree on the right side. My airbags did not deploy and after the point of impact, that same sensor light started to flash on the dash. I filed a complaint with Nissan consumer affairs (1800 Nissan1) option 7 then option 3. They had a technician/engineer come out to perform an inspection, after about 4 weeks waiting for a response from them (i called numerous times asking about an update) i received a phone call from my [xxx]stating that the technician found everything in working order. I think that the tech should have found an error code because of the flashing sensor light. There should be a recall on this vehicle. I was wearing my seatbelt and i had only minor injuries but still this should be considered a lemon because its safety related and was "fixed" twice and still did not function when i really needed it to. I did not have my cell until my wife drove out to my location then i recorded the dash with the sensor light flashing. Bystandards called police but only paramedics came out, when called dispatch, they said that they were unable to locate me so therefore no police report was taken. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.S.C. 552(b)(6).

My car has the "dtc B1129 or B1134" related to "itb12-034b" and "itb10-036b" but when i called Infiniti dealership, they said that my car's vin does not apply. It's exactly the issue described on the recall campaign bulletin how does this not apply? It's the deterioration of the terminal connector that increases impedance on the harness and causes the airbag light to come on falsely but it's enough to cost money. Why doesn't the Infiniti dealership do this?

The sedan has an airbag that does not work properly the airbag light flashes non stop on the vehicle and does not go away. L looked online and saw a previous recall on this issue and the problem still remains. I took it to the dealership to be told that it was my fault and they do not warranty safety issues anymore. They continues to print out a statement for $1000 dollars with a code B1134. Its a $35,000 dollar car it should not have "safety" issues. Maybe because it is to expensive to deal with or is a human life more expensive. The airbags are obviously not working properly and the fact that they want to charge me for an issue they need to resolve internally is not very good business practice or professional. I know of other consumers online that have had the same issue plenty of people online with complaints. Being its a safety issue this needs to be addressed asap. If i were to get into an accident and the airbag does not deploy i will take legal action. I have no issue with that just have an issue with Infiniti not taking responsibility. Thanks

Airbag light on dashboard does not turn off after car started, and remains on and blinking. Car has not been in accident, or hit anything. Nissan dealer repair technician found error code B1134 for left hand side airbag (drivers seat). Technician reset light. After driving car for several miles, airbag light began blinking again, and will not stop. Nissan dealership repair shop says entire left hand side airbag (drivers seat) needs to be replaced.
