2017 CHEVROLET COLORADO with 40950.0 miles

Twice now my 2017 w/~41000 miles has gone into instant, no warning or grace period, but an instant drop to a forced 10 mph in the middle of traffic, this last time on a highway with no shoulders during rush hour. The three codes thrown the first time (i don't have the codes from the second time but the dealer is ordering a new ecm based on the U0401 code): rc (radio controls): B1325 - control module power circuit - low voltage ebcm (electronic brake control module): U0401 - invalid data received from engine control module - invalid data ecm (engine control module) P200C diesel particulate filter (dpf) high temperature along with the codes the check engine, stablitrak, and traction control lights came on - however braking was not affected! Regardless, this programmed 'limp' mode is insanely reckless with total disregard for the safety and welfare of the vehicle occupants, there is absolutely no safe place or reason to deliberately cripple a vehicle while in traffic! Some european manufactures at least give you a warning with several engine restarts to let you drive normally to safety and then a dealer for service ' but apparently emissions laws in the us take precedence over human life. Limp mode can be disabled for emergency vehicles but the dealership told me it was illegal for them to do it for me. The dealership has been great but limited to what they can do because of gm requirements. They are currently looking into the problem and has ordered a new ecm as a second phase in troubleshooting the issue (first was reprogramming the ecm) however there is still no excuse for forcing a vehicle into limp-mode while in use - i have lost all faith in this vehicle and gm and cannot trust it for my own yet families safe use.

2017 CHEVROLET MALIBU with 64000.0 miles

I purchased the car with 11miles on it and i am still having these issues with loss of power steering resulting in almost near death crashes. The car stalls while in motion. This has happened both in traffic and on the highways. Ive had to pull over on the highway. The emissions in the car is always a problem and the engine constantly sounds like it falling out as you switch gears. I have reached out to gm to complain, however they have not been helpful nor are they experts in fixing transmission/ emissions issues. At this point i no longer have faith in this 2017 Malibu and i feel like gm is taking absolutely no responsibility in the errors of the mechanics of this car. So far, i was told after 1 year of trying to fix the issue and hundreds of dollars spent on rental cars because this issue is not deemed a warranty issue, they gave me $1500 to purchase another gm vehicle, never addressing the issue of the safety concerns i have with the car. That is not fix i am willing to settle for. What about the monthly obligation i have in terms of paying off this car? None of the technicians were able to explain to me why this is and i have spent countless dollars in an effort to have this car looked at. The reason for my recent complaint is because again the car is experiencing stalling and low power steering. The original fix from Chevrolet was to change something in the battery "found code coboo B1325 low voltage codes. Found shorted cell in battery casuing low voltage at startup replaced battery and road tested 6 miles. No code returned " however they have changes that cell everytime i take it in for service. This does not fix the issue, instead causes me more money because this is not a warranty issue and i am always having to leave my car for weeks. I am looking for a remedy that is safe for both me and my children. I have repair orders if needed

Power steering on my 2015 chevy Colorado as well as stable track goes out intermittently. It can happen when i'm driving or starting the car. Turning the vehicle off and on again usually fixes the issue temporarily. Took the vehicle to the mechanic and codes co545, U0420, B1325 and U04135 which are the steering wheel torque sensor, invalid data received from power steering control module, control module power current voltage below threshold, and invalid data received from brake control module. The truck is barely 4 years old and to replace the part will be 2300. It is exhibiting the same issues as the recall in 2016 and searching around i find more people having the same issues.

2011 CHEVROLET TAHOE with 190000. miles

While driving approximately after 30 minutes, the vehicle would have power issues causing erratic behavior. Example, while traveling on interstate at about 70mph the issues would happen when pressing the brakes or turning on a blinker, the vehicle's door looks cycled several times, it would create a startling pop immediately through the speakers, the radio cut off and restarted. While attempting to pull off interstate, the engine then started to stutter loosing power. Stabilitrack and abs lights came on. After safely pulled over, cut vehicle off. Restarted vehicle, no issues or power problems. Problem would then randomly happen. Random no power issues - like battery was disconnected. Tested batter - it was ok. Problem became sporadic and random. Dtc showed random issues with electronic brake control module (C0710 -steering position sensor), park assist module (U0073, B1325 - device power 1 circuit malfunction) and passenger presence system (B1000- ecu malfunction) identified grounds to be very bad condition at battery negative to engine and frame, and driver side under body ground at the frame.

2009 CHEVROLET IMPALA with 99697.0 miles

I took my car to auto mall in brattleboro vt for the recall 36110 passenger seat occupant sensing. They had it all day said they fixed it but the airbag light is on and it still doesn't sense anyone in the passenger side seat. They also gave me a list of 9 codes that my car now has but didn't back in june 3 of which i know about tire and dead battery in my remote and my actuator door, the rest all have to do with electric issues. I think stemming from the original recall. I wouldn't pay 90.00 to have it coded again so i looked up the codes myself and they are all loop open circuit and one is second row seat belt pretensioner deployment control. Seems to me that there is more than wrapping the wires is going to fix, i think it all has to do with the recall but they refuse to do anything. I don't even know what they did wrap or change the housing?? My codes are as follows B0223 B3060 B3031 B1325/3 B0074 C0755 boo1b/4 B0021/04. Help please all i want iis to be able to get my car inspected. As i said i had no codes until this started when the same dealer changed my pps module back a few months ago which was a recall too. When my abs light came on and traction control and loss of power. After auto mall fixed that the airbag light came on. They had the nerve to ask if i had mice living in my car...

2005 CHEVROLET MALIBU with 27632.0 miles

I had the recall of the sensor on the electric power steering accomplished in october. I have had the loss of ps three times since upon acceleration and the problem is worse now than before the recall. The dealer indicates the problem now is the voltage spikes per tsb 08-02-32-005. This tsb indicates a defective coil causes voltage spikes in the electrical system thereby damaging the electric ps motor/module. The codes C0900, B1325, and C0176 were set. I spoke with gm with no avail. There is a tsb 10183 which extends the warranty to 10 years and 100,000 miles. This is with a loss of signal from the steering column. My vin is not covered by this tsb. My contention is a loss of ps by any cause is a safety issue and gm should recall and fix it. The tsb admits the coil is defective as the tsb requires a replacement with a new enhanced coil and a ground strap added to the coil. This is a manufacture defect and should be corrected by gm. Any vehicle with this defective coil can have the electric ps damaged at any moment without knowing that the failure has occurred. Again, i believe this is a safety issue. What is the point of gm replacing the sensor because of a safety issue and will not correct other issues that cause the same safety issue. Why would one fault be more of an issue than another causing the same safety issue? I have ordered the new coil and related parts to correct the voltage spikes which could damage other parts. That still leaves the motor/module which the dealer indicates needs to be replaced.

2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx. Consumer writes in regards to the electric power steering recall notice. *smd the consumer stated he received an invoice stating the recall was completed. However, after leaving the dealer, he experienced a power steering failure. Upon returning to the dealer for an explanation of the power steering failure, the consumer was informed it was a separate problem not related to the repair that was just performed. According to the service ticket, the technician found and checked code C0900 and then checked the alternator. It then stated he found a related tsb that said when finding a code C0900 and B1325 as well as other contributing factors it may need to have a coil replaced and ground strap added. The technician did not state he found both codes.
