2010 TOYOTA COROLLA with 79132.0 miles

Tl* takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator remained illuminated while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (atlantic Toyota located in hatillo pr) where it was diagnosed that the passenger seat sensor (B1773) failed and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired because the part was not available. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v340000 (air bags). The part needed for the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer stated that the contact would receive another letter when the part became available. The failure mileage was 79,132. Parts distribution disconnect. Updated 08/30/17*lj *cn
