    2018 TESLA MODEL S with 21000.0 miles

I am the owner of a 2018 Tesla model P100D. On dec 17 at approximately 11:40 am i and a business associate were driving to my home at 804 duke street, alexandria, va. My associate was driving approximately 1-2 miles/hour and starting to park. The parking location is in front of a brick wall. While coming to our final stop the Tesla began to accelerate on its own as though the gas was punched (it was note). The car thrust forward and slammed into the wall, destroying a part of the wall and damaging the front of the Tesla. The air bags did not engage and we were not injured. The car simply accelerated on its own. I reported the incident to Tesla but they have not responded.

    2017 TESLA MODEL S with 14753 miles

My 2017 Tesla Model S P100D suffers from severe degraded "infotainment" computer. Tesla has said it is not a problem with the emmc (existing ntsb recall) in my case, but instead inadequate processing power for the new software, and they've recommended a $2500 "upgrade". The system randomly goes to blank screens, fails to navigate properly, freezes, and is a major distraction while driving. Tesla has offered no solution to the problems.

    2017 TESLA MODEL S with 31000 miles

The defective mcu went down and what is not being properly reported, especially in this pandemic world we now live in, is that besides the entertainment, the air conditioning (and viral hepa filter), the suspension height, the steering and acceleration properties, nearly everything is no longer accessible when the mcu fails because to the driver, these things can only be accessed and manipulated through the center console, which is in permanent shut down mode. Look, i perform fmea analysis for a living. This is a single point failure being caused by the poor decision to select an mcu chip that has a limited number of data writes to the memory, and that cannot be cleared out by any system designed into the car. Mine just failed last week and my car only has 30,000 miles on it. Tesla claims that they only warranty the entertainment system for 25,000 miles. The problem is that they've integrated the mcu and emmu as the single source of operations for all other vital systems in the vehicle. This is completely insane and is without a doubt a safety issue, as it was 90 degrees the day my mcu failed and dangerously hot inside my car, even with all windows down, which only got worse because there is so much thermal loads created by the battery, normally protected by the overheat sensors & fans, that are now not operating properly thanks to the mcu failure. It also important that you understand the most of the need to write to the finite mcu & emmu memory is caused by Tesla during their frequent software updates. Mine is a P100D ludicrous + and cost well over $100,000 when new. Tell me what other manufacture would be allowed to get away with designing a single point of failure that effects nearly every system including safety features, and then say its only covered for less then the time they know the first failure will occur. Criminals and make them accountable now please.

    2016 TESLA MODEL S with 20000.0 miles

On 1/18/20, i was travelling in my 2016 Tesla Model S P100D eastward on anderson hill road toward the intersection with purchase street. The stop light was red. I was driving 1mi under the speed limit of 35mph. The outside temperature was around freezing, and a wet snow had begun 5-10min earlier, with minimal accumulation. I know exactly how fast i was going because i had cruise control on. I was not on autopilot. Just cruise control. When the intersection and stop light came into view, i tapped the break to disengage the cruise control, and then depressed the break to slow the car. Nothing happened. The breaks would not engage. And neither did the regenerative breaking. I do not feel that i was skidding or sliding. It simply felt as if the car had no idea i wanted to brake. It was very very strange. In those few seconds it became clear to me there was a good chance i would be dead shortly. As it happens, i was struck broadside by a large suburban travelling northbound on purchase street perhaps 25 miles an hour. Both he and i seem to have emerged relatively unscathed (physically, anyway) thank god. But i want to know what happened to my car. Can you please contact Tesla and demand all the information from the cars computers - and their computers at hq - so we can find out??? What happened was extremely dangerous, and could have killed both me nd others. To summarize: brake failure, both manual and degenerative, in 2016 Tesla Model S caused massive collision with both cars totalled.
