Reductant Temperature Sensor Circuit Intermittent
DTC P2046, sometimes indicated as P204600 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the air/fuel mixture causing reductant temperature sensor circuit intermittent.
This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is set when the reductant temperature sensor circuit intermittently detects a temperature that is too high.
Possible causes of this code include a bad reductant temperature sensor, a wiring issue, or a problem with the reductant heater.
If this code is set, it is recommended that the vehicle be brought to a qualified technician for diagnosis and repair.
