P2061

DTC P2061, sometimes indicated as P206100 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the air/fuel mixture causing reductant injection air pump control circuit high.

This code is set when the air pump control circuit is high. This can be caused by a defective air pump, a wiring issue, or a problem with the air pump control valve.
To fix this code, first check the wiring and connectors. If everything looks good, then replace the air pump. If the air pump is working properly, then replace the air pump control valve.
