P217B

Fuel Injector Group "G" Supply Voltage Circuit Low

DTC P217B, sometimes indicated as P217B00 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the air/fuel mixture causing fuel injector group "g" supply voltage circuit low.

This code is caused by a low voltage in the fuel injector group "G" supply voltage circuit. This circuit supplies power to the fuel injectors, and a low voltage can cause them to not function properly.
There are a few things that can cause this code to be triggered. One common cause is a bad or failing fuel pump. Another possible cause is a bad or failing fuel injector. A bad or failing ignition coil can also cause this code to be triggered.
If you have this code, the first thing you should do is check the fuel pump. If the fuel pump is bad or failing, it will need to be replaced. If the fuel pump is good, you should then check the fuel injectors. If any of the fuel injectors are bad or failing, they will need to be replaced. If the ignition coil is bad or failing, it will need to be replaced.
