P2241

DTC P2241, sometimes indicated as P224100 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the air/fuel mixture causing o2 sensor positive current control circuit low bank 2 sensor 1.

This code is set when the PCM detects that the O2 sensor positive current control circuit is low. This may be caused by a defective sensor, a wiring issue, or a problem with the PCM. If the code is intermittent, it may be caused by a loose or corroded connector.
If the code is caused by a defective sensor, the sensor will need to be replaced. If the code is caused by a wiring issue or a problem with the PCM, the appropriate repairs will need to be made.
