Pressure Control Solenoid "J" Performance/Stuck Off

DTC P2820, sometimes indicated as P282000 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the causing pressure control solenoid "j" performance/stuck off.

If this DTC is stored, it means that the PCS solenoid "J" is not performing as commanded or is stuck off. This could be due to a failed solenoid, a wiring issue, or a problem with the PCS control module.
If the solenoid is failed, it will need to be replaced. If there is a wiring issue, it will need to be repaired. If there is a problem with the PCS control module, it will need to be replaced.
