2013 FORD TAURUS with 89000.0 miles
Power steering stopped while my husband was driving his vehicle from a parking lot onto a busy road. The blinkers also do not stay on and have to be held down while trying to turn a steering wheel with no power. This is obviously very dangerous! The error codes that came up are U3000-49, U3000-96, U3000-72, U042081, U046B-86. There is a recall on 2013 Ford Taurus but for some reason our vin is not listed in the recalls, however we are having the same issue as discribed in this recall. Ford is refusing to help us get this resolved and telling us that we must pay for the cost of something that has already been reported on 2013 vehicles. Recall code 15s18. It appears Ford is not taking responsibility for their poor product and selling a vehicle that is quite frankly lethal and now undrivable.
